Dr. Jessica Hunt, DVM
Dr. Hunt grew up in the East Troy area. She was active in the local 4-H horse and pony project, both driving and riding. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
Following graduation, Dr. Hunt completed an internship with Southwest Equine Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. During her time in Arizona, she gained a wealth of experience in many areas including equine medicine, surgery, dentistry, and emergency care.
Dr. Hunt spent summers and extra time with MVDS the past several years while she was completing her veterinary education. Her passion for equine dentistry grew during this time and continued through her internship. She joined the MVDS team in August 2019 and started her equine dental residency in January 2020.
Dr. Hunt and her husband, Andy, share their home with their dog and cat. In her free time, she enjoys riding, hiking, driving her team of Welsh ponies and exploring new breweries with her husband.
